ENG 101 and ENG 102 feel the same to me, but my experience with ENG 101 was challenging. I took ENG 101 three times. The first two times, I had to drop the class because of the pandemic and because I was not prepared for online learning. In 2024, I decided to return to college and passed the course. Even though I passed, writing is still difficult for me. It takes me a lot of time to organize my ideas and write clearly.

What feels the same in both classes is the focus on writing clearly and revising work. What feels different is that in ENG 102 the articles and readings seem that they will be  more complex words and different readings. The dynamics look the same, you have to read and respond to literature through essays and blog posts.

I am most excited to improve my writing and become more confident. This class will help me reestablish habits as a reader and writer that I don’t take the time to do it no more, because I really want to have that time to reflect and improve my writing.
