Hello everyone, my name is Keino Watson, and I’m a paramedic in New York City. I have a career for over 20 years, and while it can be demanding, I enjoy helping people during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I am currently pursuing a career in nursing, as it feels like a natural next step and a strong fit with what I already do. I’m at LaGuardia because it offers a clear, supportive path toward my goals. I see this class as a chance to build on what I learned in English 101 by improving my writing and communication skills, especially when communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Outside of school and work, I enjoy watching movies and playing basketball. One of my long-term goals is to write a book about my experiences as a Paramedic.
