My name is Mariela Morales. I had to take a medical leave, which made me feel like I was falling behind. I am now back in school and very motivated to earn my associate’s degree to later transfer to a four-year school. I am a pre-health student trying to get into the rad-tech program in the next fall semester. I chose LaGuardia Community College because it is one of the few schools that offer this specific program. 

I enjoy being in school and having classes to keep me busy. Outside of classes, I work and enjoy spending my time on hikes or reading. I also really enjoy going to new restaurants.

My experience in ENG101 was honestly great. I enjoy writing and want to learn how to improve my writing. In ENG102, I can see that it would be more challenging and I am really looking forward for it. I am excited to work on my papers and get feedback on them to learn how to better my writing as well as revising my own work. Personally, I like to always re-read all my work, even if its not school work, and I like to find ways to make my writing stand out more, and this habit helps a lot.
